Since I could write, I’ve been making lists. Typically they were packing lists, lists of future destinations, or lists of new foods to try in Disney World.

Those lists of travel goals took me to:

• Spain for high school study abroad

• art and creative writing courses in Rome

• summers in Japan for scuba diving and Fuji-climbing

• hiking treks in Patagonia

• exploring lava tubes and beaches of Hawaii

• staying in almost every Walt Disney World resort

• small towns 14 hours west of Nairobi to explore schools in rural Kenya

• 10 weeks exploring Europe by train, plane, and very small stick shift automobiles

• Acadia National Park, which I loved so much I moved 3 miles away

I am also a:

• Bostonian by birth, New Yorker by the lived-in-NYC-for-15-years rule, Mainer by current address

• Photographer with my husband at Aquadro Photography - together we capture weddings, proposals, families, and dogs

• Teacher and former school administrator, specializing in English and Special Education

• Lover of organization, details, and clutter-clearing

• Mom of two humans and a dog

• Poet who sometimes agonizes over figuring out that one perfect word
